About the project
The present project is relevant since development of democracy in any
country requires civil society’s involvement in the process. Digital
citizenship is a modern challenge in the world. Nowadays digital links are
intensively used by students. Students, who are regular users of the net, have
to deal with different sites: searching systems, youtube, blogs, various
instruments, etc. This requires awareness of “digital citizenship” and getting
appropriate skills.
AIMS
Students will participate in online
cooperative project. While working on the project they will use a foreign
language and ICT, they will classify information, share it with students from
different countries, which will enlarge their knowledge.
Students will realize opportunities of electronic communication. They will evaluate ICT as the way of searching information fast and get to know the influences of technologies on a person and the society, they will be able to use digital resources for various purposes.
Students will be aware of various methods of collaboration while communicating.
Students will make presentations by means of digital instruments.

WORK PROCESS
January: Teachers will cooperate in
twinspace in order to get to know each other better and to decide which type of
research, methods and instruments should be used to implement goals. They will
encourage students to involve, distribute functions, create products and upload
in twinspace.
February _ April: Schools involved in the project should present photos, paintings, blogs, e-books, posters, booklets.
May – June: Colleagues will share information. Students acquaint with each other’s work and share information, they will strengthen cooperation. Student will be introduced about their countries’ state international politics. The connection with any country can be established from birth or by getting citizenship. Each country has its regulations regarding citizenship.
The project will help students use modern technologies and develop digital and creative skills.

EXPECTED RESULTS
Materials for project
will be created by means of different instruments, presentation will be made
and uploaded on twisnspase, students will make posters and booklets about their
countries. Students will enlarge their knowledge, will make e-books by means of
various programs, e.g. storyjumper, calameo, etc.
